Tami DePalma

Rumor has it that Tami was born a publicist.

At the age of 8 she got her first newspaper article published. In the 4th grade she was on the team that produced and PBS documentary. Since “going pro” she’s gotten more than $221 MILLION in FREE publicity for her clients . . . and counting.

Negotiating massive media attention from Live with Regis, The Today Show, New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, more than 7,370 radio interviews and 2,385 newspaper articles and about a dozen magazine front covers, Tami herself has graced the front cover of Woman’s World.

Tami has a background in all facets of marketing: advertising, merchandising, promotion, sales and customer service, and of course PR. Tami received her bachelor’s of science in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Colorado State University.

Partner of MarketAbility.com, Tami is co-author of MarketAbility’s Book Marketing Profit System (now in its 6th Edition). She is a popular speaker who makes repeat appearances at Dottie Walters Magnificent Marketing Symposium, Steve Harrison’s National Publicity Summit, PMA’s Publishing University, SPAN Small Publishers Marketing Conference and Trade Show, MEGA Book Marketing Conference, Fred Gleek / Rick Frishman Marketing seminars, The Jenkins Group / BookPublishing.com seminars, and Colorado Independent Publishers Assoc, for which she served as Vice President.

A die-hard Bronco maniac, Tami lives in Arvada, Colorado with her husband Gino and their son Dominic.

She loves to work out and together with Gino is a Body-for-Life Champion and founder of StartTodayFitness.com.

Kim Dushinski

Recognized as the grounding force of MarketAbility, Kim’s strategic marketing mindset and love of being organized are key to our own successful marketing. She is responsible for our website development, online marketing, advertising design and placement, direct mail coordination, and the concept and design of MarketAbility’s marketing materials.

“What I love most about my career is working with the strategy of marketing.” Kim says. “Helping authors and publishers figure out who will buy their book and why really makes me happy. Then if I can help them figure out how to best reach their readers, I’m in seventh heaven.”

Kim is co-author of MarketAbility’s Book Marketing Profit System (now in its 6th Edition). In addition to teaching the TeleConferences that are a part of that program, she is an enthusiastic student of Ken McCarthy’s The System. Her interest in internet marketing has certainly paid off. After attending her first System course she catapulted the annual revenue for StartTodayFitness.com from $133 to $27,280.

An avid reader and mountain girl (she’s a fifth generation Colorado native), Kim also enjoys blogging (ScrappinCabinet.com), hiking, climbing Colorado 14ers (Mt. Massive, Quandary Peak and Mt. Democrat so far), and working on her family scrapbooks. She lives in Lakewood, Colorado with her husband Ken and their daughter Anya.
